Hello,

I recently replaced my old 5 year old laptop with a new one about a month ago.

Just this morning, I booted up my computer and experienced my first BSOD. I looked at the logs, and it showed that the BSOD was caused by the ntoskrnl.exe.

I've looked online, and the ntoskrnl.exe error is due to bad RAM, but the laptop itself is only 1 month old. I've also checked to see if any of my drivers were out of date and none of them were.

At this point, I have yet to complete a mem test to see if it's indeed the RAM that's bad, but I need some suggestions from the experts here on the forums to see if there are any other solutions to fix this problem.

Hello. Its my second topic here of last time. Sorry for troubles,just want to be sure my pc is fine. So....

Today i installed Wolfenstein New Collosus. I am getting driver display crashes in main menu especially when alt tabbing to windows. Recorded 4-5 crashes in main menu or alt tab to windows. But in game ( 3d ) not single crash. Only in main menu. 1080 TI FE stock

Crash dump is : C:/Windows/LiverKernelReports/Watchdog


Its only in main menu or alt tabing to windows. Game ( 3d ) its fine. So propably software issue not hardware?

Hi. I tried to reproduce 2 times display driver crash. When i run 3dmark time spy stress test. I turn off monitor and then turn on again it will stop test and display TDR crash report in event viewer. Is this reason to worry? This happened 2 times when i turn off montor and turn on back. I tried to reproduce this more than 2 times,and no crash. Yes test will stop , but no TDR driver crash. Weird.

PC: 6700K stock
16GB DDR4
Asus Z170-P
Corsair 750 RM
1080 Ti Fe stock No oc.

When i tried to reproduce driver crash i cant. It happened only 2 times.

Any ideas why it crashed driver only 2 times during this? Why it doesn't happen everytime during this? ( TDR )



My monitor: iiyama red eagle g-master gb2488hsu-b3

If i dont turn off monitor test will run non stop even 24 hours without crash.

Monitor is plugged by display port cable to display port.

Hi, I just got the bluescreen with the 'Unexpected Store Exception' error. After my laptop restarted it couldn't find hard disk. The problem was the battery was drained so I just plugged it to charge and then it switched on normally. Another problem is that Windows Update has a problem installing Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3087040) - Error 0x80004005. Solved with - Windows Update error 0x80004005 for KB3087040 Do you have any advice about 'Unexpected Store Exception' error?

Hi,
I am using a 4 year old Toshiba Satellite C855.
In the past few months I have experiencing BSOD, but not that annoying, maybe 1x or 2x a week, the problem is, the BSOD is not during heavy task, just while watching youtube or movies.
Now in the past few days I got it almost everyday, and not to mention my laptop freezes 2x in 2 days and I had to forced reboot by pressing the power button long.

I am only using the laptop for watching movies, surfing, picture editing, but definitely not for gaming & video editing.

I hope someone here can help me fix it.

Hello, I've recently been getting the BSOD midway through a game with the error "SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED". I have a ASUS ROG G752VS with the GTX 1070. This is a new laptop so I'm pretty disappointed this has randomly started happening as I have had no prior issues. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the 382.53 Notebook driver. For the life me I cannot figure it out. Every day windows 10 has a bluescreen of death. Majority of them are Memory Managements as this one is now.

I have attached the entire file for the crashes its been having so far. Does anyone happen to know whats going on? It never did this in windows 7 :C


Its getting to the point to where I am about to go back to windows 7 and never look back. This whole experience has left a horrible taste for windows 10. Everything is always crashing...

Hi, I've been having several BSODs in Win10 lately (Screenshot 1), some say CACHE_MANAGER (NTFS.sys 0x34), others say DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, others System_service_exception, Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap, etc... They happen randomly, sometimes when I turn the PC on, sometimes when im playing or watching videos, editing in Photoshop, etc, and often there isnt even a BSOD, the PC just crashes and I'm forced to reboot. I've tried everything, changing the GPU, doing several RAM tests...

This started happening a few days ago. Whenever I close out the browser in Google Chrome, I'd get the BSOD. BUT every other browser such as Microsoft Edge and FireFox does not have that problem. I tried uninstalling Chrome, rebooting, and reinstalling Chrome but that doesn't fix the issue. Perhaps my video card doesn't agree with Chrome? Here are my specs (I know it's an old computer but it still works great!):

I get a BSOD almost every session. The computer (Windows 10 Home Creators - not Fall) re-boots almost instantly but I just catch the message "Page fault in non-paged area. stdriverx64.sys
Is there an easy fix that does not involve editing the registry.

So I just tried to take out an old 160GB hard drive that was a secondary drive that had nothing to do with windows and tried to replace it with a 1TB as I needed more space

The computer can get into BIOS but cannot get into advanced options for windows nor can it access safe mode in any state. Instead it attempts to boot and gives me this...

The only things I can think of that caused this is maybe my boot order got messed up in the...

Hi everyone,

Recently while i was playing a game my laptop crashed with a blue screen with the message " your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart...
with the stop code DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION. I then factory reset my laptop back to windows 8.1 as that was the only recovery back up I had.

After upgrading to windows 10 from there, after a few minutes I got the same crash with another error - VIDEO SCHEDULER INTERNAL ERROR.
This puts the laptop in a loop and i cannot boot windows...

I have o Windows 10 PRO 64bits. I replaced new motherboard (ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 to M5A97 R2.0).

I ran memtest86.
I ran sfc/scannow and chkdsk.
I tested stress CPU + GPU for 30 mins.

Without errors!

Hi folks,

I'm having real trouble diagnosing a persistent blue screen problem. It started about a year ago after upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10. I initially did an upgrade install but have since performed numerous clean installs of win 10. It is a home built system. One of many I have put together over the years, but the first with any problems.

I installed a 4TB HDD on my system and it is working fine and everything is smooth.
but after some time, my windows started to restart unexpectedly once a day.

I still don't know what is the cause of this.
I thought it was PSU inefficiency so I calculated required wattage by the system and it turned out to be less than my PSU. so PSU is fine.

I have all the required windows update and my system is up to date.
so what is the issue causing it.?

Hi all, I've just built a new computer and I've been getting BSOD's few times a day consistently every day.

Things I've done to try and fix it:
- Reinstalled windows
- Tested RAM using MemTest86 8 passes (4 passes when overclocked to 3200mhz and 4 passes when not overclocked at 2133) with 0 errors
- Ran stress tests using Prime95 (ran fine for like an hour, so stopped the tests)
- Ran Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool (no errors detected)
- Tried running windows with and without installing...

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR help please
